Special roaming permits enable Poseidon to visit a selection of over 25 ecologically diverse and spectacular Agincourt ribbon reef sites at the very outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef.
These special reefs known as ‘ribbons’ run parallel to Australia’s Continental Shelf and are recognised as amongst the most pristine eco-systems in the entire Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Clear outer reef water provides the best possible underwater visibility, encourages rich coral growth and supports spectacular marine life.
