The Poseidon story began in 1980 with Outer Reef snorkelling and diving in the Port Douglas area and has established a long reputation of providing visitors with outstanding dive and snorkel experiences on the Great Barrier Reef. In April 2001, Poseidon III was launched with the continuing philosophy of limiting passenger numbers to ensure personalised experiences.
Departing from Port Douglas daily, our 24m high speed catamaran Poseidon has access to over 25 individual reef locations at the Agincourt ribbon reefs – one of the most spectacular and pristine patches of the entire Great Barrier Reef. Each day we select the best reefs for the day’s conditions to ensure your reef adventure is an experience of a lifetime.
